Each county handles their foster care licensing differently, so you will need to do research based on your county. Going with a local agency will break down the process very simply for you.⁠⁠

My favorite part of it all was, of course, the training. It really opened my eyes to all the different aspects of foster care and my responsibilities as a foster parent. ⁠⁠

I recommend anyone who is even the slightest bit interested to start with an intro session. You'll know at this point if it's the right path for you. ⁠⁠

There will never be the "perfect" time to become a foster parent. I recommend getting started because there will likely be hurdles along the way that will delay the process. ⁠⁠
